PLCC Probing Adapters
PLCC Probing Adapters allow in-circuit socketing and probing of PLCC packages. Our unique, low profile “Lo-Clips” provide for clip-on, in place probing. “Carrier adapters” utilize interchangeable bases, available in solderable J-lead, PLCC plug, or clip-on versions. Socket probes house PLCC or PGA devices and plug into PLCC sockets.are also provided by several versions our multi-piece PLCC probing adapters (or “Carrier Adapters”) that incorporate a socket plug base.
Ironwood offers several types of PLCC probing adapters, including PLCC socket probes and our unique one-piece “PLCC LoClips“. Our multi-piece “Carrier Adapter” systems consist of an interchangeable PLCC emulation base and a probe board that provides test points and a socket to carry the device.
