Announcement of the development of the 2.0mm pitch waterproof and dustproof drawer connector “FWSA Series”
KEL Corporation has developed the FWSA Series, a 2.0mm pitch waterproof and dustproof drawer connector for electronic equipment that are susceptible to rainwater and dust when used outdoors.
<Product overview>
– The protection rating, which indicates the waterproof and dustproof performance standard for electronic equipment is “IP67”.
This drawer type connector provides a stable connection even in environments where misalignment is likely to occur during mating, such as at the back of drawers and in unit mounting areas.
- The movable screw part of the receptacle connector can absorb a maximum of ±1.0 mm in the XY directions.
– Planned number of contacts: 2 rows x 16 poles.
-twin-leaf pinching 2point contact structure prevents the contacts from buckling, ensuring high contact reliability.
Equipped with a guide mechanism that absorbs mating error ±1.5 mm in the XY directions.
