  • An RTD (Resistance Temperature Detector) sensor integrated into the socket body can indicate the case temperature of the package being tested
  • An RTD sensor can verify that the package case temperature is at a desired level
  • Sockets with an RTD sensor are ideal for monitoring the package temperature during power cycling applications of MOSFETs or other semiconductors
  • An RTD sensor can be used with additional circuitry for individual package temperature control within the socket
  • The input and output of the RTD sensor solders to PTHs (Plated Through Holes) in the Burn-in or Test Printed Circuit Board
